Do you all play Weddings?

Absolutely—we love playing weddings! There’s something truly special about being asked to help two people celebrate the beginning of their life together. It’s a beautiful moment—not just for the couple, but for the families coming together. Watching two families become one is always powerful, and for us, it’s a privilege to be part of that joy.

When we play weddings, we make a real effort to stay in close contact with the bride and groom—or anyone else they want us to coordinate with—to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. We’re professional, flexible, and focused on helping create a day that feels personal and unforgettable.

We also offer the option for the couple to request up to two special songs for us to learn just for their big day. Whether it’s your first dance or a song that means something special to your story, we’ll make it happen. We keep the limit to two songs so we can give each one the time and attention it deserves, while balancing all the other weddings, private events, and bar shows we perform throughout the year.

Weddings are some of our favorite shows to play—and we’d be honored to be part of yours.

Do you have to go on break?

Yes—we do require short breaks throughout the night. As a 4-piece band where 1 to 4 members are singing at any given moment, our voices need time to recover. To keep the energy high and the vocals strong, we typically take a 15–20 minute break every hour to hour and a half.

During breaks, we’ll step offstage to hydrate, use the necessary facilities, and yes—sometimes even grab a quick bite to eat. While we're on break, we’re happy to play a curated playlist or break music that you’ve specifically requested—often songs that may not be in our live performance set but still fit the vibe of your event.

Our goal is to keep the flow going and make sure your guests stay engaged while we recharge for the next set!

Do you play anything else besides weddings and clubs?

Simply put—yes, we do. We play anything and everything we can, because we absolutely love making music and being part of unforgettable moments.

You’ll find us rocking corporate events, bat mitzvahs, birthdays, retirement parties, frat parties, and just about any kind of private event you can imagine—in addition to clubs and venues all across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.

We are Booyah! The Ultimate Party Experience—so if there’s a party happening, we want to be the ones creating the soundtrack and bringing the energy.

What kind of music do you all play?

First and foremost, Booyah! is a tribute to the music of the '80s, '90s, and 2000s. That’s our passion and our sweet spot. We don’t just play the songs—we recreate them. Our deep knowledge of those decades, the artists, and the production styles behind the music allows us to truly capture the vibe, energy, and sound of that era. We understand the history and influences that shaped those iconic tracks, which is why our performances hit with authenticity and power.

Because of that deep-rooted understanding of music’s evolution, we’ve also built the versatility to play a wide range of genres—from 1930s jazz standards to modern pop, hip-hop, country, rock, blues, funk, and everything in between. We’re flexible, experienced, and committed to tailoring each performance to the vibe of the room and the energy of the crowd.

While our core identity is rooted in the music of the '80s, '90s, and 2000s, we’re always happy to step outside that lane for private events, weddings, and special requests. We’ve spent decades performing across the country in countless bands and settings, and we’ve built a massive catalog of songs to pull from. Whether you want nostalgia or variety, we’ve got you covered—and we’ll make sure every show is unforgettable.

Can I Request A Song?

Absolutely! We can play just about any song you’d like—with enough notice to learn it properly. For private parties and events, we’re happy to accommodate specific song requests and will even learn up to two custom songs just for your event.

For club shows and public gigs, we typically keep requests limited to songs we already know or ones that are frequently asked for. That said… if enough people keep requesting the same song, we’ll usually give in and learn it! 😄

So if you’re a fan, a friend, or a regular club-goer—bring your crew, shout out your favorite songs, and if we keep hearing the same ones, don’t be surprised when they show up in our set list. We love playing what people want to hear—as long as we’ve had the time to make it sound great.
