DANIEL SKEEL - GUITAR/VOCALS
At the heart of Booyah! is Danny Skeel, a lifelong musician, sonic perfectionist, and high-energy performer who brings decades of experience and passion to every note he plays. As the band’s guitarist, vocalist, and sound designer, Danny is responsible for shaping much of Booyah!’s massive, arena-style sound — whether it’s recreating intricate parts on guitar or engineering the band’s pristine mix.
Danny’s musical journey began in a laid-back, acoustic duo called Front Porch, which later evolved into Dharma Bums— a psychedelic acoustic project focused on ‘60s rock with a storytelling vibe. From there, things escalated quickly. He joined the cover powerhouse TCU (The Complete Unknown), where he spent 7 years performing a wide-ranging setlist and learning the ins and outs of showmanship and arrangement.
Following TCU, Danny landed a spot as lead guitarist in the Marsha Morgan Band out of North Myrtle Beach — an important step that expanded both his stylistic range and stage experience alongside one of the Carolinas’ most respected vocalists.
After that run, Danny reunited with Nick Savoyski, and teamed up with Jeff Hatley and Antawon Ingram to form the first version of Jukebox Revolver — a slick, harmony-driven band that quickly gained traction with crowds across the Southeast. When Antawon left, powerhouse vocalist Niia Bishop stepped in, and the band was rebranded as Big City. When Niia moved on, the group continued as a tight 3-piece and returned to the Jukebox Revolver name.
During the Covid era, Danny launched Bad Love, a new project that gave him the space to step fully into the role of frontman. That experience, combined with years of live performance and vocal work, helped him sharpen his skills as both a lead singer and a band leader — paving the way for the high-octane tribute act that is now Booyah!
All the while, Danny has been performing solo looping acoustic shows, building full-band arrangements on the fly using only guitar, vocals, keys, and creativity. It’s where he refined his sense of rhythm, tone, and crowd connection — learning how to fill the sonic space alone, and carry that precision into full band settings.
Danny’s musical philosophy is rooted in respect for the original songs. Before putting his own twist on a cover, he learns it note for note, inside and out — understanding the feel and intention before crafting new layers. This approach allows him to be creative while still delivering faithful, high-impact renditions of the songs audiences love.
Beyond the stage, Danny is also a sought-after live sound engineer, having mixed shows for countless bands across the Carolinas. Known for delivering crystal-clear, balanced mixes and top-tier production value, Danny ensures every Booyah! show not only sounds massive, but feels professionally executed from the first note to the last.
Whether it’s behind the mic, on the fretboard, or at the mixing desk, Danny Skeel is a driving force — helping Booyah! deliver the ultimate party experience night after night.
Nick Savoyski - Drums/Vocals
NICK SAVOYSKI - DRUMS/VOCALS
Nick Savoyski has been a staple of the Triad music scene for the past decade, bringing a wealth of experience and musical wisdom from coast to coast. Originally from the great state of California, Nick spent years performing and recording alongside top-tier musicians, sharing stages with legends like B.B. King and Emmylou Harris, and stepping into some of the most iconic studios in the country. His deep pocket, tasteful playing, and seasoned presence behind the kit reflect a lifetime in music — and a commitment to making every note matter.
While out west, Nick met and married Robyn, a highly accomplished vocalist and performer in her own right. Together, their shared musical background and creative energy have fueled a lifelong dedication to the craft.
Upon relocating to North Carolina, Nick teamed up with longtime friend and collaborator Danny Skeel to help launch TCU (The Complete Unknown) — a Greensboro-based cover band that quickly gained a loyal following. Known for its eclectic setlists and high-caliber performances, TCU caught the attention of former Rolling Stone writer Parke Puterbaugh, who praised the band’s chemistry and charisma.
Nick and Danny’s musical partnership continued to evolve when they co-founded Jukebox Revolver, bringing in Jeff Hatley on bass and powerhouse frontman Antawon Ingram. Their goal: to create a band that balanced tight musicianship, killer vocals, and a party atmosphere that kept audiences coming back. After Antawon’s departure and several lineup shifts, the band rebranded briefly as Big City, before eventually returning to their roots — and original name — as Jukebox Revolver.
Now, with the launch of Booyah!, Nick is helping take that legacy to the next level. Blending decades of performance experience, a rock-solid groove, and the kind of instinct you can’t teach, he’s the rhythmic heart of the band and a major part of its powerful live sound.
As Nick always says:
“The best is yet to come.”
